The Malta Feline Guardians Club, MFGC, has brought the Christmas Spirit amongst our feline friends, when holding our last Grand International Cat Show for the year ending 2011 held at the Phoenicia Hotel, Floriana. This was also the very first show for us with 3 Judges: Mrs Anita Grobler – Long Hair Judge, Mrs Susan Jacobs – All Bread Judge and Mrs Brenda Neukircher – All Breed Judge, all coming from South Africa.
All judges were very enthusiastic to judge our adorable felines especially for Mrs Susan Jacobs who has judged here in Malta 2 years ago and would gladly come again. We would also like to give our special thanks to our sponsor, Mr Matthew Wismayer from the PetNutrition Ltd who helped us pull up the show. The winners of this show were as follows: O’Miracolo del Falco d’ Oro – General Best on Saturday. Ch.Micabliss Isotta – General Best on Sunday. O’Miracolo del Falco d’ Oro – Super General Best. For the first time this year the Club was authorized to have 2 Master Winners: Ch. Micabliss Isotta and Chrysoberyl Eyes Monet. The winner for the Christmas Kitten Speciality Ring was Chrysoberly Eyes Monet.
We would also like to inform the General Public that the next show would be a joined show. This is going to be the first time that both Cat Clubs (WCF & CFA) will be organising a 2-Day show in one day for the WCF and 4 rings for the CFA. For this Show 4 judges will be flying over from Italy, Germany and USA. This show will be held on, Sunday, 5th February at the Pheonicia Hotel. All those who wish to apply are welcome to do so as from the 1st of January. Those exhibitors who will show their cats in the show will have the possibility of gaining different perspective from both CFA and WCF.
The club will also be organising a small gathering for some drinks to all his members and helpers on, Friday 6th January 2012 at 20.00 hrs at our premises in Attard. Anyone who would like to register any cats can send an e-mail to [email protected] or call 99990022. Remember that the MFGC is the only Club authorised to register any kitten litters or catteries.
Finally the Committee members would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and may this festive season bring abundant joy and happiness in your life!
